Organising Committee

The Organising Committee consists of dedicated individuals responsible for coordinating and managing all aspects of the workshop. They ensure smooth operations, from logistics to scheduling, to create an optimal environment for collaboration and knowledge exchange among participants.

Paolo Tasca

Paolo Tasca

A Professor at UCL and digital economist with a specialisation in distributed systems. He’s the founder of P2PFISY and UCL Centre for Blockchain Technologies. Dr. Tasca is a blockchain entrepreneur and has served as a special advisor on blockchain technologies for government and industry stakeholders worldwide, including the UN, and several central banks.
Dante Mossi

Dante Mossi

An economist, international civil servant, and diplomat, who has served as the Executive President in effect the Chief Executive Officer of the Central American Bank for Economic Integration (CABEI). He also held senior positions at the World Bank.

Scientific Committee

Composed of accomplished academics and researchers who examine and select papers submitted for inclusion in the workshop. They leverage their expertise and insights to contribute to the discussion on how the P2P revolution is reshaping both the financial sector and the financial services ecosystem.

She is an expert in fintech, blockchain finance and cryptocurrency markets, indexing, derivatives, volatility trading, asset pricing, risk premia, investment strategies, risk management and portfolio management.

Daniel Heller

Monetary and Regulatory Economist specialising in the regulation of Financial Market Infrastructures. He is a Senior Research Associate at the Centre for Blockchain Technologies at University College London. Daniel also isthe Head of Regulatory Affairs at Fnality International and the CFO at Bitlumens.
David Yermak

David Yermak

Albert Fingerhut Professor of Finance and Business Transformation at New York University Stern School of Business and he is the Director of the NYU Pollack Center for Law and Business. He teaches joint MBA - Law School courses and PhD research courses.
John Augustine (IIT)

John Augustine (IIT)

John Augustine is a Professor of Computer Science and Engineering at the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Madras, where he co-founded the Blockchain Lab and the Cybersecurity Centre. Previously, he held roles at the Tata Research Development and Design Centre and at the Nanyang Technological University in Singapore.

Professor of Finance at London School of Economics And Political Science. She’s a member of FMG, CEPR and has also received Houblon-Norman Fellowship at the Bank of England. Professor Yuan has also conducted policy research for central banks and financial market regulators.
